“Chivalrous” by Dina Sleiman; a review by Warren
I was given a book by the publisher under agreement that I
would write a review.
Can both a knight and a lady be Chivalrous? In this sequel
to Dauntless we find a hero rising out of poverty with his faith in God intact,
but his youthful enthusiasm bespeaks less wisdom than may be necessary to
survive. In contrast, a young noble woman chases her dream with abandon all the
way to the tournament.
It’s a love tale with more action than kissing, an adventure
with more friends than enemies, and a story with more hope than despair. Lances
splinter, swords clang and hearts are pierced. It’s a good read with solid
principles, believable characters and subtle scene descriptions.
